WHO WE ARE
WildLife Foundation is the charity based at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Doncaster. While Yorkshire Wildlife Park is caring for the animals at the Park and working on conservation projects at home, WildLife Foundation is the away team. We work with our partners in conservation and welfare around the world who are doing a great job protecting and saving animals and improving welfare in zoos or in the wild.

All of the animals we support are endangered and need our help to survive.To educate and inspire you guys! We rely on your support to reach our goals.

Our story starts with 13 lions, that Yorkshire Wildlife Park helped to rehome from poor conditions from a run-down zoo in Romania. Every penny of this project was raised by Yorkshire Wildlife Park and its supporters, showing that they could make a real difference! The directors of the park decided to support the creation of an independent charity based at the Park to mirror the values of Yorkshire Wildlife Park but carry this work out on the international stage. Since then, the WildLife Foundation has gone from strength to strength, funding projects on every continent except Antarctica.
